ford motor company unveiled its new f-series "super duty" truck september 24, 2009 - the vehicle features several technologies and gadgets to help business drivers, including an in-dash computer, a tool inventory system and a fleet telematics and diagnostic system.

mercedes is launching a new internet access option on the e-class and s-class models in germany in October 2009 as an option. the "in car hotspot" system accesses the web via a hsdpa, umts or gsm / edge cellular connection, and pipes the connection to laptops and/or mobile devices using an on-board router that effectively creates a wifi hot spot within the car.

cadillac rolls out in-car internet access
cadillac has announced the availability of an in-car wireless internet option on its cts sport sedan beginning in april 2009. the new option will be called cadillac wifi by autonet and be dealer-installed. the device will have an msrp of $499, and the service will cost $29 per month.
